

Anne Brittain (Huffman) Taylor, DDS, 63, of Marblehead, died at her home on July 28, 2017. She was the loving wife of Kenneth P. Taylor, OD and devoted mother of daughters, Laura Reynolds Taylor of Washington, DC, Ashley Taylor Ginnings (Mike) of Rye, NY, and Jessica Lee Taylor, MD of Boston, MA. Anne was born November 12, 1953 in Charleston, WV, daughter of Jane M. (Huffman) Nelson and David G. Huffman.
She is survived by siblings, Jerry M. Huffman (Mary) of Colleyville, TX, Rebecca H. Ruegger (Pete) of Rye, NY, and David G. Huffman (Karen) of La Quinta, CA; step siblings, Tina Rucker (Will) of Shelby, NC, and Oscar Nelson (Ginger) of Lewisburg, WV; and brother-in-law, Keith E. Taylor, OD (Wendy).
Anne graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1975 and West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 1979. She soon moved to Marblehead where she and Ken raised their family. She enjoyed her time with friends on and off the tennis court, singing with Old North Festival Chorus, and volunteering at Windrush Farm.
Visiting hours will be held at Eustis and Cornell of Marblehead, 142 Elm Street on Thursday, August 3 from 4-8PM. A Memorial Service will be held at the Old North Church, 35 Washington Street, Marblehead on Friday, August 4 at 11AM.
