

Born July 18, 1959, he led a full life which he dedicated to his loving wife of 29 years, Carol, and his two sons, Cian and Dylan. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 1993 and received his Masters Degree in Public Policy from Suffolk University in 1997.
He always showed a deep commitment to education and learning which he passed on to his two children. Charles also dedicated his time to supporting his sons in all of their endeavors and attending every school and sporting event. His fatherly instinct was not constrained to his own sons, as he mentored many youths during his time in Boston and instilled his value for education and perseverance in children and young adults in the community. He also truly enjoyed travelling and venturing off the beaten path to experience the wonders offered by cultures other than his own.
He will be deeply missed by his sisters Dineen Saunders, Cheryl Crawford Glenn, Kathleen Bullock, and Sandra Saunders, He was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews and a wonderful son in law and brother in law. He is predeceased by his mother, Helen, his father, Arthur, and his brother, Arthur Jr.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Old North Church, 35 Washington Street, Marblehead on Saturday, January 9 at 2PM. All are welcome. Arrangements by Eustis and Cornell of Marblehead.
