David Mason

Dave was raised and educated in Edinburgh Scotland. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in Structural Engineering. David had many accomplishments and adventures throughout is life. His engineering career had him living and working in London, Dublin, Edinburgh, Montreal, and for many years he lived in Swampscott and worked in the Boston area. For many years he worked with John Borne in Cambridge, MA

He enjoyed English Premier League Football (soccer). He enjoyed watching games with his many friends. Dave was very involved with the Swampscott Youth Soccer program for many years. He loved to share his knowledge of the game with the youth in Swampscott. Dave also enjoyed travel. He had been to many destinations, but always made time to go home to Scotland and England to visit his beloved family and lifelong friends

Dave was a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He will be sorely missed, by many. In addition to his wife Lois, he is survived by his son, Stuart Mason of Salem. He also leaves his brother Alan Mason his wife Elaine of Goderich, Ontario, Canada. He also leaves his brother Kenny and his wife June of Stanbridge England. He leaves his cousins and several nieces and nephews, and many good friends.

A Celebration of Life Service is to be scheduled. Arrangements by Eustis and Cornell of Marblehead.
