My name is Mike Caulk and I met Daynor while serving in the Marine Corps.  We were teammates on the 1971 Quatico Marine football team. I was just a young kid out of high school and I never would have made that team if Daynor hadn't taken me under his wing.  In the 4 months we were together he taught me much about football and even more about life.  I only wish I could have seen him one more time... He was a special guy.

I had the honor of being Daynor's teammate and friend.  His warmth was something we all will remember, but when it came game time, oh what a desire to win came to the front and the Plucker took over.  Being humble allowed him to be a great leader.  This, I hope will be carried on in his hometown by all he touched.  The Wildcat family will miss you.

While only an acquaintance at Parsons, I did have the privilege of watching him QB the football team at every home game, and even a couple on the road.  Though not very big, nor having a huge arm, Daynor was one cool customer and was just about the most accurate passer I've ever seen.  Everyone who was at Parsons in the mid 60's knew who he was.  I vividly recall my best friend from Parsons returning to Philadelphia after graduating and naming his German Shepard "Daynor."  Daynor Prince....what a great name, and apparently a great man.

To my old friend plucker it was a pleasure being a team mate at parsons  and with the Pottstown firebirds you were one of the best qb I ever played with rest in peace we will be playing for the loaded team next love you always

I had the pleasure of having Daynor in my life for the last 16 years, ever since meeting and marrying his nephew Erik. I will never forget his smile, his whitty humor and his fantastic hugs. Even though we shared alot of great times and made many memories with Daynor, It wasn't nearly enough. I thought we had more time. Love you dearly and we will miss you everyday.

It's hard to put to words the feelings one has when a friend from childhood passes, such as Daynor. Having played sports with the best "Winner" I have ever met, I feel so honored to have been his friend. I hope we reconnect on the other side for this life didn't give us enough time together because of so many reasons. Plucker...wait for Straz...I'd love to think we'll see each other again.

I never even knew I had a brother, Daynor, until 19 years ago. He would roll into my life and then leave, like the fog. I had no idea the impact he had and how he touched so many lives. How would I? He never talked about himself in that way. Over the last several weeks, the stories that I have heard from so many people, so many walks of life, will stay with me forever. I could of listened to those stories for hours! Thank you to all of you who shared those memories. Even though I did not have a lifetime with him, the years we did have are precious to me and I will miss him terribly.

Daynor was a very special person.  He was kind to me, someone who looked at him as a that cool, older "golden boy"...years went by...I didn't see him and then one day I saw him at my son and nephew's youth football practice.  He just looked at me and said "Hello Lisa"...the years just melted away.  I always asked him to keep an eye on my son Nick(Schmitt).  He said he would...and I know he did and still will.  RIP Daynor, I'm really sorry I didn't get a real chance to say "good bye"...so...good bye, it was my luck to know you.

I met #27 in Vero Beach at the Club, we became good friends and Daynor became my Best Man at my wedding. I'll never forget coming back to Vero Beach from The 1AA National Championship Game the mourning after. We were Driving through Atlanta, Ga on a sheet of ice, Cars over turned everywhere  a real mess. Daynor was driving and I said to him, can you handle this. He said don't worry Kid this is a piece of Cake In Marblehead country. That's apparently how he played the game one cool cumcumber. Save me a place on the bench Daynor so I can watch the the best. Daynor was always one of my very favorite people to see when he'd arrive back in town in the summer. Just seeing his handsome face, I knew I'd enjoy a few months of his famous one-liners. He will be terribly, terribly missed by many of us who loved and respected him. This is a true loss for many of us. I'm grateful to have had 14 years of friendship with Daynor. And, I always thought, "if he was just 20 years younger..." :)

Uncle Daynor, your quiet humble ways have always been an inspiration to so many....Thank you for stepping in for Dad on so many holiday gatherings, your presence alone made it easier to accept that he was not with us...may you both enjoy catching up talking about the reversed curse, the stanley cup and three superbowl rings!!! I'll always remember his collection of 'Property of...' shirts

We were grade school classmates at Roads Elementary and played Little League baseball together. He was the athlete that could, and did, do it all. From baseball to hockey to football, and, yes, basketball, as the 1959 junior high photo attests (front row, #17).
I know I'm not alone when I say I shall never forget the memories of Daynor and our friendship. Rest in peace Plucker.

Daynor was the Tom Brady of his day.  Lead the team down the field for the winning touchdown, score the winning goal at the old Lynn arena,and dazzle the hitters with his pitching prowess.  Always humble, never the bragger. He was a leader, a teamate, and life long friend.  However, all these accomplishments pale compared to his real role in life ... helping people.  This was his longest touchdown pass.  Plucker, you will never be forgotten by those who knew and loved you.

I was lucky enough to have known Daynor since I was born.He was my Dads best friend! He took a great intreast in my son, helping him in the summers with quarterbacking and coming to watch him play baseball. Daynor was such a nice caring man. As sick as he was he took the time to come to his graduation party a few weeks ago. He will be deeply missed in my family.Rest in peace Daynor.

I just read of the passing of Daynor,I played college football at Parsons College with Daynor. As he was a Senior Quarterback when I was sophmore Safety  I had to compete against him. He would always talk to me, smiling of course, as he came to the line scrimmage saying Duff, try to stop this one. I learned from him how best to play my position. I will always remember the Game that we at Parsons played against Daynor at Quantico, It was  an epic battle that showed how great a QB he was. He told us that his Duty was to make sure the field house did not disappear. That's how valuable he was to Quantico Marine Football Team. Although I have not seen Daynor since that game ,I have had fond place in my Heart for him. Daynor, May you rest in peace on the football team for God.

I had the great joy of knowing Daynor since he was growing up on the Parks of MHead  he loved sports soo much he would would play on every team in town  Right now I am sure he is telling St Peter that he played on the fields of MHead and probably saying "and by the way St Peter I usually bat in the fourth position"

Daynor used to play street hockey with us, kids younger than he, in the early 60s. Of course he would take it easy on us. I remember one day he made a play that caused us to gasp. One of the guys said, "That was uncanny." We all agreed, though I couldn't wait to get home to look "uncanny" up. He was really something.

Uncle Daynor was such a patient, caring and funny man.  He loved seeing his passion for athletics being passed down to our family.  He was a great supporter and loved surprising us unexpectedly, especially when my dad passed.  I will miss those visits tremendously.

daynor's passing will leave a void in many lives,maybe none more than mine.55 years of stories and experiences will be embedded in my mind forever.generosity is usually measured in dollars and cents.in daynor's case it was measured in true friendship.if you look up the word friend in webster's there should be a picture of daynor prince,no definition,no words,just the picture.that says it all.rest in peace my friend.

My Uncle was an amazing man. Humble, wise, thoughtful, and funny. He always told it how it was. I will miss him and his visits to California. He left a lasting impression on me and my family. "I love ya Kid."

I am so sad to lose our dear friend Daynor. He was a brother to us, family friend, and an Uncle to our daughter--Izzi's birthday parties, Devereux and Vero beaches, Dodgertown and Dodger's game with Jeannie C. How will we know it's springtime in Marlblehead without his arrival from Vero? He was a doer of good deeds--would go anywhere to help anyone. He was so karmically rich, he will surely come back a King! We love you dear Daynor and will miss you terribly!

So sorry we didn't get to do that dinner with Daynor and the Jermyns and Dennis and Norm in FL this year like we had discussed. Time is marching along, and tomorrow is promised to no one. Rest in peace my friend.

Daynor was our friend for 11 years.He was type guy would give yoy shirt off his back if you needed it.Each morning he would come to our home,bang on the door and say hello, how ya doing kid, grab morning newspaper and check his lottery tickets and say "tonights the night baby"

Daynor came to our home in Vero Beach Fl every morning to pickup the newspaper and have our chats of many things. He always checked his lottery tickets, and always would say "tonights the night baby" He did this for 11 years. Marylou and I referred to him as our son. We considered him as a good friend, that would give you the shirt off his back if needed. He would come down and ask if we had chips and always say cant have a sandwhich without chips. How ya doing Kid, your in a better place now
