Debbi Debbi Gaillardet

Debbi Gaillardet, age 54, of Manchester, NH, and formerly of Marblehead, MA, died on Saturday, July 28, 2012. Born in Marblehead, she was the daughter of Barbara L. (Torrey) Gaillardet of Salem, MA and of the late Albert J. Gaillardet. She graduated from Marblehead High School.

Debbi was recently retired from Verizon/Fairpoint Communications after 32 years with the company. Debbi was a cancer survivor and was an avid Red Sox fan. For 25 years she enjoyed Terrace Pines Campground in Ossipee, NH, where she made lifelong friends. Debbi was the life of the party and the light of our family.

In addition to her mother she leaves three sisters, Joan Gaillardet of Salem, MA, Lori Babine and her husband Robert of Conway, NH, and Wendy Gaillardet of Lowell. Debbi was the aunt of Chrys Prescott of Hampton, NH, Jaime Babine Wetmore and her husband Sean of Lebanon, NH, and Eric Babine and his wife Sheena of Wakefield, NH, and the great-aunt of Cole Wetmore, Trop Babine, and Stella Babine. She also leaves many close cousins and friends, and her “girls” Mai Ling and Beezy.

A Memorial Visitation will be held in the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home, 142 Elm Street, Marblehead on Sunday, August 5 from 2-6PM. At the request of the family, graveside services will be private. A celebration of Debbi’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society Chapter of your choice.
