She spent the majority of her professional life as an Executive Assistant for various corporations in the New York and Boston areas. She was 62 years of age and is survived by her sisters, Dawn Oshea of Red Lodge, MT, Stacey Lane of Tucson, AZ, her brother, Bill Karas, and her mother, Phyllis Karas of Red Lodge, MT, and her step-children, Andrew Darland, and Katie Kennedy of Novi, MI.
She was a passionate reader that included numerous subjects and was a devoted friend of many. Her charm and personality were contagious. It was very easy for her to produce many smiles on the faces of those who were so fortunate to meet her. She loved to dance using the moves taught to her by her mother when she was just a little girl. Banana bread was a specialty of hers and it was enjoyed immensely by her husband on his way to work. Her favorite charity was giving to the Lakota Sioux Indian School in SD and she was always thrilled with the pictures of the students that were sent to her.
She will be missed greatly. Memorial services will be held in Red Lodge, MT as well as in MI where her husband Tim and the majority of his family is from. The dates for these services are yet to be determined. Arrangements by Eustis and Cornell of Marblehead.
