

She is survived by her daughter Nicole Losada and son-in-law James Trubiano of Brighton, MA; her siblings Elizabeth (Lisa) Curry Palmer of Marblehead, MA and Philip Curry Jr. and his wife Jane of Franktown, CO; her in-laws Manuel and Helen Losada of Garner, NC, Lynn Losada of Cary, NC, and Daniel Losada of Knoxville, IA; in addition to nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ellyn was born on May 7, 1959 in Boston, MA, a daughter of the late Philip Edward Curry Sr. and Elizabeth Fallon Curry. She graduated from Bishop Ludden High School in Syracuse, NY in 1977 and Buffalo State College in 1982. Before moving to Glenfield in 1988, Ellyn worked as a U.S. Customs Officer in Buffalo and Niagara Falls, and in security at Day Brothers Department Store in Syracuse. Her most recent position was as a Probation Officer for the Lewis County Probation Department, where she retired in February 2018.
Ellyn was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Glenfield and St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Lowville.
She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, reading, traveling, and attending concerts, and was a staunch supporter of the Syracuse Orange, Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins and Buffalo Bills.
A funeral service will be held at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., 5702 Waters Street, Lowville, NY, on Friday, June 14th at 11am. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be private. A luncheon at St. Peter's Church Fellowship Hall will immediately follow the funeral, all are welcome. A memorial service for family and friends will also be held at Eustis & Cornell of Marblehead, 142 Elm Street on Friday, June 28th at 11:00 a.m.
