Harry grew up in Lynn and started Salem Medical Lab in 1961. He proudly served in the Air Force Reserves for six years and was a dedicated Cub Scout leader for many years in Marblehead. A longstanding member of the Masons, Harry was recently recognized for his commitment and service to the organization.
Harry leaves behind his wife, Mary, with whom he shared almost 70 years of marriage; two sons, Eric and his wife, Elaine, of Lynnfield, and Jonathan and his wife, Lauri, of Peabody; his sister, Julie Tragellis of Peabody; and four grandchildren, Lucas, Stratton, Alexandra and her wife, Taylor, and Nicholas.
He spent his time between Marblehead and Stuart, Florida, before retiring as a resident of Florida. He enjoyed boating and riding his motorcycle well into his 80s. During his retirement, Harry and Mary loved traveling the world with their friends, making countless memories along the way. Cocktail hour was their cherished evening ritual—simple, familiar, yet always special. Harry was very active socially with his wife, Mary, and they loved to entertain their many friends and family.
Harry will be remembered as a soft-spoken man with a gentle soul and a kind spirit.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
