He moved to Lynn as a youngster and attended Lynn Public Schools. He was a graduate of Lynn English High School where he was a star football player opposite the great Harry Agganis from Classical.
Jimmy was a graduate of the New England Barber School in Boston. In addition to being a barber, he also worked as a music record distributor and was a traveling salesman to local firms for many years. He was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Lynn.
He is survived by a niece, Kristine Dalfond Eker and her husband Rick of Utah and their daughter, Alexksandra; and two cousins, Bill Booras of Lynnfield, and Angela Booras Spaneas-Nash of Florida. He was also the brother of the late Martha Sklavos Dalfond and her husband Charles.
A graveside service was held in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Arrangements by Eustis and Cornell of Marblehead.
