I have fond memories of volunteering in the church office on the same day of the week as Janet. She was a lovely person and I appreciate very much all that she did for Old South Church over many years. We missed her presence when she was no longer able to attend regularly. My condolences to the family.

My condolences and heartfelt sympathy to Dick and his family on the loss of their mother, Mrs. Bayley. I have fond memories of playing golf with Dick and Janet at Tedesco Country Club in their Member Guest. Mrs. Bayley was a great competitor and a tremendous putter who saved the team on many occasions! She was a gracious host and enjoyed her family and the game of golf a great deal. She will be missed.

Janet C. Bayley was a great lady and a much-beloved member of Old South Church and the Mount Vernon Church, which associated with the Old South in the 1970s. She was always quietly ready to support the Old South whenever it needed something that the budget could not afford. We are all in her debt. May she rest in peace.
