Cheryl, Kevin, Dave and Linda I am so sad to hear of the passing of Jean. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Your mother was a warm and loving lady who always had the ability to make anyone feel special who came into contact with her. She will be missed by everyone but will live on in our hearts.

Cheryl, just heard of your mom's passing. So glad I got a chance to reconnect with her last year. Your mom made the library a great place to hang out! This world has lost a true gem. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Ahonen's.

Dear Lynda, We went to high school together & for some reason your mother has never escaped my memory. It could have been because she saved me so many times from Mrs. Grant? Regardless I am sorry for your families loss.

To Jean Ahonen's Family,
Reta and I just finished looking at the 70 photos highlighting Jean's life. Doing so brought back a lot of memories of good times with a great lady. Circle Woods is fortunate to have had the good times of sharing with her. We will miss her and her positive attitude to try new things. Our deepest sympathies are mixed with our fond memories,

So sorry to hear about Jean's passing ... I remember her smile and warm caring spirit as we worked together at the "old" MHS ... looking at her staff photo in the MHS yearbook of 1979 as I type this ... may memories comfort you all at this time

The Ahonen's were a truly great Marblehead family, honest, hard working, and always fun. I first met David and his Dad at Gatchells around 1974!! Mr. Ahonen was a true class act and Mrs. Ahonen probably saved me from a few suspensions during the great days at the old MHS library. Your parents were special people, always keep them in your heart.
