Lucy M. (Williams) Pearson, 100, of Lynn, passed away peacefully at the Rosewood Nursing Home in West Peabody on September 8, 2014. Born in New Bedford, MA on October 6, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Edith (Williams) Lord. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 46 years, Frederick L. Pearson and her brother, Thomas Edwin Williams.
Mrs. Pearson worked for many years at the General Electric Plant in Lynn and later at the Danvers State Hospital. She was a longtime communicant of Broadway Methodist Church and later for over 50 years at the Maple Street Methodist Church where she and Fred were married in 1966.
Lucy and Fred enjoyed many years of camping in their trailer at the Salisbury Beach Trailer Park with friends. She loved to knit, crochet, and dance. She was also a doll collector and a member of the Daffy Dollars, a doll club based in Middleton.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Wing) Beard, and Betty Lou (Wing) Ingram both of Lynn. She was also loved and cared for by the William and Jane Booras Family for over 30 years.
A private graveside service was held in Pine Grove Cemetery where she was laid to rest along with her husband Fred and her beloved dog Snoopy. Arrangements by Eustis and Cornell of Marblehead.
