

Born in Medford, Mary was the daughter of the late Eugene and Elaine (Tesson) Flynn. She graduated from Girls Catholic High School in Malden Class of 1970. Mary enjoyed staying active in her younger years. This included playing tennis, skiing and spending time on the beach. She also enjoyed boating and politics, having served as a Legislative Aid. Above all, Mary’s most enjoyable time was spent with her family and friends, especially Jack and Annie. Mary was a strong person who never lost faith and who will never be forgotten.
She is survived by a brother Michael Flynn and wife Angela of Malden, and a sister Judy Miskinis and husband Albert of So. Boston. Also survived by God Son Chris Bednar and wife Jennifer of Salem, and niece and nephews, Christopher, Shannon, Albert and Andrew.
Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, 174 Humphrey St., Swampscott on Thursday at 11AM. Relatives and friends invited. Burial will be private. Visiting hours on Thursday in the Eustis & Cornell Funeral Home, 142 Elm St., Marblehead from 9:00-10AM.
