

Pat T. Welch, 67, of Marblehead, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 21st surrounded by family and friends. She was born March 12, 1947 in Tacoma, WA. Pat was the daughter of the late Charles and Theresa Southworth and sister to the late Charlene Ridell of Long Branch, NJ.
She graduated from Long Branch High School in 1966. Pat then attended Chamberlain Jr. College in Boston, where she studied Fashion and went on to work at Bonwit Teller. Years later she found her passion for cooking and became Chef at The Apple Orchard in Ipswich, MA. Which later lead her to the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts where she ran the catering division DeGustibus Catering. She then went on to become a Chef at the Winsor School in Boston, as well as owned a successful catering business.
Pat loved spending time with her family and friends at the beach, gardening, traveling to the islands, and spending time with her dogs. Although nothing made her happier than spending time with her grandson, Charlie.
Pat was full of life, a generous and kind person who touched the heart of many. She is survived by her daughter Tiffany, son in law John, and grandson Charlie.
Memorial Visitation will be held at the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home, 142 Elm Street, Marblehead on Thursday, August 28th from 4pm – 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to brain tumor research.
