Phil was a true friend, a loving husband and a devoted father. He was a valued colleague and a lifetime learner. He was best at helping loved ones achieve their dreams. He supported them in their goals and believed in them fully. I was so lucky to have known Phil, as my life would not have been the same without him. He was and always will be my favorite person. I looked up to him and was able to become a better person because of our shared time together. He was kind, supportive, positive, energetic, a runner and a food enthusiast. Thank you, Phil, for being part of our lives and sharing your life with ours.

We are devastated and so heartbroken by Phils death.  We wanted so badly to be there with our family during this sad time but were unable to make the trip.

I am very saddened by Phil's untimely passing.  Like many others, I had the pleasure of knowing him both professionally and personally, and I owe much of the trajectory of my career to him.  Phil hired me nearly fresh out of college, and 18 years later, I am still dedicated to the food industry because of the many things he taught me.  We worked together at both John Hancock and Wells Fargo, and he was always respected for his level of expertise and appreciated for his kindness and friendship.  I will miss him.  My condolences to his family and may he Rest In Peace.

I had the pleasure of both a professional and personal relationship with Phil.  He was always supportive, smart, engaged and just a great guy.  My life changed because of him.  He hired me at Hancock, which positively impacted my entire family's lives. I owe him much more than I can ever repay.   God bless him and his family.  I hope he is restful in heaven and maybe going on a beautiful run.....

So sorry to hear of Phil's passing.  Phil worked with us as a consultant and a friend in Wells Fargo's Ag Industries Group for a several years among his many in the agricultural finance industry.  We will miss him.
