

Thomas Clifford Barry, 39, of Marblehead. Tom Barry was born at Salem Hospital on April 12, 1978. He was the victim of a near-drowning in Kennebunkport, ME on August 30, 1998, and died nineteen years to the day after his accident on August 30, 2017. He was a graduate of Marblehead High School, class of 1996.
Tom took time off before becoming employed at Crosby’s in Marblehead. Tom was a member and volunteer at the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, ME. He was also, from just days after his birth an honorary member of Glover’s Regiment. He was a lover of Scotland, the Scottish people, and all things Scottish, and made many friends there. He was at his happiest in Scotland. He loved woodworking, model railroading and airshows.
He leaves his parents, Dave and Judy Barry; his uncle and aunt, Phil and Cindy Kimball, and their daughter, Katie of Walpole, NH; and several cousins.
Visiting hours will be held at the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home, 142 Elm Street, Marblehead on Wednesday, September 6 from 2-4PM. Burial will be at a later time. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Seashore Trolley Museum or the Traumatic Brain Injury Association in Tom’s name.
