Budd was born on November 21, 1938 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Adolph and Magdeline Muller.
Budd was previously married to Carol, and later found lasting love with Lynnea, whom he married on July 30, 1983. Together, Budd and Lynnea shared 43 wonderful years of marriage, building a life filled with love, family and memories.
Budd was a loving, hardworking and devoted family man. Family was at the center of his life, and he never missed an opportunity to show his support. In his younger years, he enjoyed coaching his stepdaughter’s softball teams. Later, he could be found cheering on his grandchildren from the sidelines as they participated in their many sporting activities. Whether it was a school concert, sporting event, special recognition, or important life milestone, Budd was always there, proudly supporting his family. He was someone his grandchildren could always count on. No matter what they needed or when they called, he would be there for them. Budd also loved being outdoors. Whether he was mowing the yard, working in the field, or repairing farm equipment, he found joy in staying busy and working with his hands. He continued doing the things he loved right up until the very end.
Budd will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his devotion to his family, and the love and support he gave so freely to those around him. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories he created and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by both his parents and his brother, Everet.
Budd is survived by his wife, Lynnea; his brother Harry (Penny); his son, Michael (Karyn); his daughter Cyndi (Marvin) Dahle; and his stepchildren, Cindy London and Kimberly Johnson.
He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Randi, Jeffrey, Scott, Sarah (Anthony) Dahle, Kaitlyn (Ryan) Bahr, Karoline (Jordan) Hofer, Lindsi (Ryan) London, Tanner (Hannah) London, Lilly, Addie and Drew Johnson; and great granddaughter, Adele. He is also survived by dear friends, Kenneth Vandello and Susan Boehm, who each held a special place in his heart.
The family will gather privately to remember and celebrate a life well lived.
