
She was born May 22, 1951 in Harvard, IL to Joy and Lucile (Curtis) Polnow. She married David Schultz in 1983, and they enjoyed 29 years together. Amy worked as a waitress at Clearview for over 20 years, and in her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, knitting, baking, volunteering at Zion Lutheran School as a reading partner to first graders, and watching her grandchildren grow up: she never missed a game. Amy loved her family, and she was loved by everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, David; her children, Trae and Ginna (Brian) Stavroplos; her step-children, Jason and John Schultz; her grand-children, Drake, Chase, and Gracy; her brothers, Pete (Barb) and Matt (Christine) Polnow; and her nieces and nephews, Megan, Tucker, Nathan, Abbie, Sarah, Shani, and Kaine.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Scott Polnow; her sister, Peggy Meshkin; her son, Gage; and her granddaughter, Olivia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 16 from 4pm to 8pm at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Hwy, Marengo. The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 17 at 11am at Zion Lutheran Church, 412 Jackson St., Marengo.
