Coty William Steurer, age 38, of Marengo, Illinois passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026. He was born May 31, 1988 to Guy and Denise (Davis) Steurer in Rockford, Illinois. Coty graduated from Marengo Community High School in 2006. He worked as a handyman in various places.
Coty enjoyed fishing, working with his hands, and helping his friends with their cars.
He is survived by his brother, Ryan Steurer; grandma, Judy Steurer; family dog, Ollie; cats, Little Man and Benny; and friends, Cassandra and Braxtin Hogan, Adam Johnson, Doug Brant, Palone Perez, Felix Perez, Rei Hernandez, Joel Campuzano, and Tracy Markus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Denise Steurer; and grandparents, Eugene Steurer, and Herbert and Mattie Joe Bailey.
Celebration of Life will be held at Siems Park 16351-16899 Highbridge Rd, Union, IL 60180 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Saturday, August 15. BYOB. Bring chairs. Bring fishing poles. Food and nonalcoholic beverages will be served. Lets celebrate Coty's life.
