Cynthia Ann Grosvenor

Cynthia Ann Grosvenor, age 71, of Marengo, Illinois passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022. Cynthia was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 17, 1950 to the late Paul and MaryAnn Chovanec. She married the late Michael Grosvenor in 1970 in Chicago, Illinois before settling in Marengo in 1986 with their three children, Carrie, Karen and Michael.

Cynthia spent most of her working years as a Data Entry Specialist, but her top priority was adjusting her career and schedule to meet the needs of her family. She took pride in her family, always hosting family gatherings and holidays. Her door was always open for family and friends in need. She loved spending time with her grandkids hosting sleepovers, doing crafts, and playing Bingo.

Cynthia is survived by her children Carrie (John) Leffelman, Karen (Raul) Rivera, and Michael (Molly) Grosvenor; her dog Tank; grandchildren Jessica, Kristen, Christopher, Alaina, Nathan, and Grayson; great-grandchildren Parker, Hunter, Silas, and Charlotte; brothers Paul, Allen, and Russell; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

She is at last reunited with her soulmate and best friend, Michael.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 10am-2pm at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E Grant Hwy, Marengo, IL 60152. Funeral Service to follow at 2pm.
