When I was in gradeschool at hillside, the best time of the day was going to lunch and seeing Mrs K. After I left hillside and didn't see here for a couple years, we recconected a few years ago. I would help her here and there at her house in hillside with small things. She will be missed.

Kim and Keith and family,

Your mom was so engaging and caring and just took people right into her heart. She made us feel a part of the family as soon as we met her. Who else but your mom would make friends with people many states away playing computer games, then detour off a trip out West to meet them for dinner! And she always talked about how precious all her family, each and every one of you, was to her. Being around her always reminded us of the importance and blessings of connection. She took us into her heart and we will always keep her in ours.

Our love to you all,

Kathy & Marc Vermoch

Betty and I got to know Donna in 2016 when we bought her Huntley home - when we retired. She was truly a sweet and beautiful person who faced some very difficult times with a patient and loving heart. Always pleasant - we could see the blessed spirit she had, and shared with all those around her. We prayed for her - asking The Lord to be with her in a very special way in the particularly trying days she has recently faced.

She may have left us - but through Christ - we'll see her again in glory.

Our prayers and sympathy to all her relatives and friends.

Donna was such a dear friend! I'll miss her so much! But at least now she and Ken are together again! I know she missed him terribly! What an amazing person she was!

Mrs. K, our dear Hillside neighbor, you are now reunited with your beloved Ken. I will cherish fond memories of you. I’m so grateful that we were able to be your neighbors for nearly 20 years before you moved to Union.
