Ernest “Ernie” Johnson Sr., passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021, surrounded by his devoted children. He was born on May 16, 1934. He was the loving father of Mary Jane Tsujioka, Betty (Russ) Kinney and Ernest Jr. (Nora) Johnson. Ernie was the proud grandfather of Magan Watson, Zach Johnson, Jack Kinney and a cherished great-grandfather of Corbin, Nessa, and Julian. Fond uncle and friend to many. Preceded in death by his parents: William and Celesty Johnson. Ernest proudly serviced his Country for 13 years in the United States Air Force. Ernie was an accomplished business owner of Ernie’s Septic Service, and he proudly served the community for over 51 years, his son, Ernie Jr., will continue to serve the community for years to come. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: JourneyCare Hospice,, Barrington, and a special thank you to Alden Estates of Huntley.
