Howard Logan Dodds, 78, of Thomson IL, passed away Thursday, June 30, in Marengo IL. Howard was born on January 30, 1933 in West Frankfort, IL. Howard served in the United States Air Force, then went on to become an Illinois State Policeman for 25 years until he retired. He was an avid Harley rider, and loved to play golf, pool, and darts. Howard is survived by his son William Bradley (Rhonda) Dodds, and granddaughters Ashley and Sara Dodds all of Marengo. Howard is preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 7, at 3 p.m. at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Hwy. Marengo, IL 60152.
