I remember Jimmy coming to our house in GA in the early '60s when I was in high school. Later in the mid 60s I was stationed at Great Lakes and he came and got me several weekends and let me stay at his house in Woodstock. It was a great time for an 18 year old away from home for the first time and I will never forget his hospitality.

Jim was always a happy man, always had a smile, and willing to help any in need. He helped us so many times with fixing just about any appliance we have. But most of all, we cherished his friendship. He was such an honorable man and dedicated to the service he provided to our Country. For that we thank him endlessly.

Karl and I met him through his wife, Joan. He loved to talk about their family and how proud he was all of them. His love for Joan was so special. His face would light up every time he talked about her and how they met!

Our love to Jim for our memories with him and our love and support to his family. He will be missed by so many people - especially Karl and I!
