John H. Fritz

John H. Fritz passed on May 4, 2026, at the age of 70. John was Born on March 19, 1956 to Donald and Darlene Fritz in Belvidere, Illinois. John graduated from Marengo High School. He was involved with the Future Farmers of America (FFA); he spent his entire life dairy farming. After getting married, John and Kelly spent 13 years in Wisconsin on their dairy farm. After selling the dairy farm in Wisconsin, John and Kelly moved to Union, Illinois to assist the Provident Farm. John loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, helping on the farm.

John is survived by his children, Kristin, Jake and Molly Fritz; grandchildren, Emily, Katelin, Allison, and James Cassan; sister, Linda (Paul) Kuhn; niece, Becky (Herb) Voss and Nephew, Brian (Megan) Voss. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Darlene Fritz.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026 from 9am until the time of service at 11am at St. John's Lutheran Church in Union, IL (6821 Main Street, Union, IL 60180). John will be laid to rest following the service at Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in Union, IL.
