John was always so so positive and encouraging, a glass half full person. I am so glad that I started working at Paulsen's before he retired because he was so experienced in business and willing to say "that didn't go so well it might work better you if try this next time!" To me he was such an all around good person. He approached life with a smile and a joke if your smile wasn't there and he had a million jokes! My heart is with his entire family with a special hug for Don and Lonnie because... just because. I know how hard it is to lose your father especially at the holidays and my heart is with you all.
