Louise R. Anderson died June 19, 2026 at Valley Hi Nursing Home in Woodstock. She was born April 16, 1948 to Gilbert R. and Rachel M. (Palmar) Anderson in Harvard.
Louise was a graduate of Crystal Lake High School "Class of 1967." She mostly worked manufacturing and loved to travel. Her hobbies include painting, drawing and watching good old Western shows. She loved her cats and birds.
On June 1, 2019 she married Gerald L. Anderson in Woodstock. Together they loved to watch the birds and other critters, they enjoyed gardening and spending time with their family.
Louise is survived by nieces and nephews, Joyce Vierck, Robin (Karl) Kindberg, Randy (Elyse) Anderson, Debra (Kevin) Hookstadt, Lori (David) Kirchhoff, Dale (Lyndee) Vierck, Scott (Susan) Vierck, and Gene (Jenny) Vierck; and many great nieces and nephews, and several friends as well.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her siblings, Terry Anderson, Paula James, and Gail Rae Allen.
There will be a graveside service on July 2, 2026 at McHenry County Memorial Park at 10am.
