Malva Rasmussen

She was born January 12, 1932 in Belvidere to Bernard and Melvina (Utberg) Gustafson.

Malva retired from Warner Electric/Thompson Linear in Marengo. Malva loved gardening, her pets, and she dearly loved her family.

Malva will be greatly missed by her children, Randy (Margie) Rasmussen and Cindy (Rick) Fagerstrom; her daughter-in-law, Renee Rasmussen; her grandchildren, Shawn Rasmussen, Stacie (Duane) Nance, Christina Rasmussen, Aaron (Ashley) Rasmussen, Andrew Rasmussen, Ryan (Kelly) Fagerstrom; her seven great grandchildren; her brother, Richard (Judy) Gustafson; her sister-in-law, Marilyn Gustafson; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Rasmussen; her son, Ronnie Rasmussen; and her brother, Bernard Gustafson.

There will be a visitation from 10am to Noon on Monday, April 24 at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Hwy, Marengo. The service will follow at Noon.

Interment will be in Marengo City Cemetery.
