Mary Patricia Berman, 70, passed away August 27, 2025. She was born June 16, 1955, the loving daughter of Margaret Zenk Berman Guy and the late Bernard R. Berman. Mary Pat was always ready to dance and loved a good joke. She and her laughter will be greatly missed by her family.
Mary Pat was proud of her attendance at St. Gertrude Convent in Cottonwood, Idaho, and was an alumni of Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois.
Mary Pat is survived by her mother, Margaret; twin sister, Mary Kay (Bob) Kovacs; sister Renee (George) Lewerenz; brother, Jack (Tammy) Berman; and sister in law Kathryn Berman. She is an aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt to many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. She is also survived by a great group of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard; brothers, Joe and Jay; stepfather, Clarence LeRoy Guy; stepsister, Vicki Guy; step niece, Jennifer Lewerenz; step grandniece, Violet Margason; her Berman and Zenk grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins.
There will be a visitation from 11am to the 1pm funeral service on Tuesday, September 9 at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E Grant Hwy, Marengo.
Interment will immediately follow the service at Belvidere Cemetery in Belvidere, Illinois.
