Ronald J. Ksiazek

Ronald J. Ksiazek, 70, of Union, passed away August 8, 2019.

He was born November 13, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois to Walter and Sophie Ksiazek. On September 11, 1976 he married Valerie Wasilewski at St. John Brebeuf Parish in Niles.

Ron was the head custodian for East Maine School District 63 for 38 years.

He is survived by his wife, Valerie; his sons, James (Elizabeth Winiarski) and Philip (Dana) Ksiazek; grandchildren, Samuel Paul and Michael Paul Ksiazek; and his brothers, Lawrence and Raymond Ksiazek.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Michael; and his sister, Phyllis.

There will be a visitation from 10am to 11am on Saturday, August 24 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 323 N. Taylor St., Marengo. The Mass will follow at 11am.

Inurnment will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Marengo.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ron's name to the American Lung Association.

I worked with Ron at Apollo for a few years until we both went to separate schools. We shared many talks over the 25 years I knew him. Great talks about our families not so great talks about our bosses lol. But to his family and friends please accept my condolences. I will always remember Ron and keep him in my prayers.
