Sandra L. Corner

Sandra L Corner, 61 of Marengo formerly of Melrose Park, passed away Friday November 26, 2021 with her family by her side. Sandra was born August 17, 1960, the daughter of George and Barbara Eckart. On November 26, 1999 she married Bob Corner. She was a devoted wife, mother, and Nana who will be missed by all that knew her. Her greatest joy was spending time with her daughters and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Corner, her daughters Jodi (Alex) Avila, Jenny (Bryan) Shannon, Jackie (Jake) McCarthy, and by her 10 grandchildren, Jacob, Noah, Lucas, Keelan, William, Camden, Asher, Jameson, Robert and Jordan. She is also survived by her sister Cindy (Marty) Coleman, Brother Michael (Sandy) Eckart, and by many nieces and nephews. Sandra was preceded in death by her mother Barbara Eckart , son-in-law Stephan DePew, and nephew Marty Coleman.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday December 4, 2021 from 3pm until the time of Memorial Service at 6pm at Marengo-Union Funeral Home. 505 East Grant Highway, Marengo. For further information please contact the funeral home 815-568-8131.
