Shirley A. Dierkes

Shirley was born December 15, 1946 in Lake Forest to Thomas and Rose (Kasper) Stilwell. On June 7, 1969 she married Norman Dierkes.

Shirley enjoyed a trip to the casino, especially if she was winning! Her family was most important to her. She loved the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Shirley will be greatly missed by her husband of 55 years, Norm; her children, Cindy (Lowell III) Lynde, Brenda Dierkes, and Jennifer (Jason) Reher; her grandchildren, Brandon (Jessica) Dierkes, Taylor (Lilly) Dierkes, Tyler (Jessica) Dierkes, Jordan Dierkes, Lowell Lynde IV, Andrew Lynde, Daniel Lynde; her great grandchildren, Kamilo Dierkes and Jaylen Dierkes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Bob Stilwell and Delores Powers.

A visitation for Shirley will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E Grant Hwy, Marengo, Illinois 60152. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 2:15 PM at Marengo City Cemetery, Marengo, Illinois.
