Susan Clair Locascio

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Susan Clair Locascio, who departed this life unexpectedly on March 25, 2025, at the age of 67 in Marengo, IL.

Born on March 20, 1958, in Waco, TX, Susan was the beloved wife of Michael Locascio and devoted mother to Robert Furber (46), Rebekah Furber-Hallsten (37) and her husband Todd Hallsten (34), and James Furber (35). She was the cherished sister of Robert SoRelle, Marilynn SoRelle, and Randal Rust, and was preceded in death by her father Dee Elmo Rust and mother Ruth Thomas Rust.

Susan was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren, a loving great-grandmother, and a devoted Christian. She will be remembered for her deeply caring heart, her unconditional love for animals, her incredible cooking, and her talent for making every space shine—qualities that also defined her successful cleaning business. Her warmth, strength, and faith left a lasting impact on everyone she met.
