Trina J. Geng, 22, of Marengo died unexpectedly on February 21, 2012 in Chicago. She was born August 23, 1989 in Woodstock to Chuck and Gayle (Young) Geng. Trina was fun loving and generous by nature. She enjoyed sand volleyball, tennis, and traveling to Florida. She enjoyed kids and was a loving mom to her daughter Lilly, the light of her life.
She is survived by her mother Gayle (Butch) Schroeder, her father Chuck Geng, her daughter Lilly, Lilly’s father Max Volpe and his parents Joe and Barb Volpe, her sister Tanya Geng, step-brother Chris (Kiker) Geng, and step-sister Katie Schroeder.
She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
A memorial visitation will be from 9 am until the 11 am service on Tues, Feb 28 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 6821 Main St. Union. The Rev Caleb Schauer will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family for the care of Lilly.
