Darren W Gill

Darren William Gill was born to James F. Gill and Joan Herb Gill on September 27th 1958 in Queens NY. He passed away at age 57 on June 13th 2016 in Tamarac, FL. He is survived by his Wife Janie, brother Terry, sister Susan and brother Dean and his wife Chris.

Growing up in NY he enjoyed all types of sports from playing ice hockey with his teammates, baseball, football, golfing with his father, horseback riding and going snow skiing with his wife Janie and friends up in Vermont. His love for his family was very strong and that love followed Darren through his life applying to all he met. He had a way of making people laugh and feel comfortable. His circle of friends was as big as his heart. Darren had a very special soft spot for all creatures big and small since childhood. Helping any animal in need, he even fed a group of feral cats in Florida where he lived every weekend for many years. Many pets passed through his life as well such as his Black Lab Chance, cat's at home TC, Brinkley, Baby Girl, Gizmo & Sonny, previously four ferrets, even squirrels growing up. He was a constant gardener, his favorite quiet place was his vegetable garden in his back yard and he shared his garden plenty with his neighbors.

Darren married on November 30th1980. He was a loving husband, warmhearted friend and a spiritual man of faith. He had a hope for a resurrection & life after death and believed you should treat one another with love and kindness. He will be missed by all who knew him and he will be carried forever with us in our hearts.

Services will be held Saturday June 18th, 2016 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 5811 N. Pine Island Rd., Tamarac, FL 33321
