

David C. Elliott was born the second son to Herbert and Elizabeth (Bollacker) Elliott in Schenectady, NY on July 14, 1935. He was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School in Amsterdam, NY and was a 100% disabled veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He graduated from Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY and earned a surveyor's license and engineering exemption from the State University of New York. He formed a partnership with the late Gerald R. Thibault as Elliott and Thibault, Land Surveyors and later established an independent company as David C. Elliott, Land Surveyor. He moved to Florida in 2004 and worked for the City of Ft. Lauderdale Engineering Department and retired in 2012. He was a lifelong fly fisherman and fly tyer and was an avid golfer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann M. Clark, brothers Herbert D. and Harry R. Elliott and is survived by his sister Claudia J. Elliott of Pittsford, NY, daughters Andree H. Elliott (Dave Comegys) of Altamont, NY, Jennifer A. Elliott of Dunedin, FL, and dear friend Deisy Colarte of Margate, FL.
He is also survived by grandchildren Bart and Kara Comegys, many nieces and nephews from New York, Connecticut and Florida and extended grandchildren Danielle and Marina Cable. Interment will be in South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, alongside his late wife Ann M. Clark.
