Dolores J. Buffa

Dolores is preceded in death by her husband, August M. Buffa, Sr. and her great-granddaughter, Aleksi Middleton. She is survived by her son, August M. Buffa, Jr. (Tami) of Clermont, Florida, her daughter, Jackie Mathews (Tom) of Orlando, Florida, her granddaughter, Gina Buffa Middleton (Marc) of Bonita Springs, Florida, her grandson, John Robinson (Lexie) of DeLand, Florida, her great-grandson, Cameron A. Middleton, of Bonita Springs, great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Rose Robinson and great-grandson, Ezra Grey Mullis, both of DeLand, FL.

Dolores was born on February 15, 1931 in Syracuse, New York to Bernard and Stella Bruzdzinski. She spent her entire childhood in Syracuse, NY.

Dolores was an independent, strong woman and loved her family. She married August M. Buffa, Sr., on July 14, 1951 in Syracuse, New York, and the couple had one child, August M. Buffa, Jr.

Dolores worked as an Administrative Assistant for the US Navy where she received several commendations for her excellent attention to detail and support. In 1969, she and her family moved to Margate, Florida where she worked at Univis. She also worked at Sony Corporation where she retired in 2000 as Administrative Assistant to the CEO. After retirement, she moved to Kissimmee where she spent her remaining years.

A private service is scheduled for March 25, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
