Duvigneaud Louis

Duvigneaud Louis known as “Pe Roulo” is survived by his wife Lucilia of 53 years, his daughter Judith Louis (Minou), daughter Margali Louis-Malbranche (Guerdi), son Carlo Louis (Sonson), daughter Nadine Louis-Exumat (Sheila), daughter Anichar Louis (Annie) and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. His Older son Eddy Louis (Doudou) preceded his death at the age of 33 years old and leaving memory of love and kindness. Duvigneaud Louis was known as a simple man, a loving father, grandfather and a friend to all.

Duvigneaud was born on October 4th, 1941, in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, to parents Andre Louis and Celimene Moise. He was a natural born handyman, carpenter and a shoemaker. At a very young age his impeccable maintenance and repair skills created his popularity amongst the neighbors and nearby neighborhoods. He was well known and helped people with carpentry projects or whatever else they needed of him. Duvigneaud also worked as a security personnel for over 40 years until he retired. Duvigneaud created a decent life for himself and his family by mastering his crafts. He was a simple man who enjoyed and played soccer for “Etoile Club Haitien”. The soccer world cup was a special moment for him. He was obsessed with keeping his space neat and clean. He was a man of few words, lived a very simple life and loved listening to old time French songs. His favorite dishes were corn meal and white rice with lots of black beans, he could eat that every day. His family and friends will always remember him as a respectable and caring person.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kraeer Funeral Home and cremation center, 1 North State Road 7, Margate, FL 33063, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday December 26, 2023. A celebration of life, with a reception to follow will be held at Gold choice Ballroom located at 345 S State Rd 7 Margate, FL 33068 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. All are welcome to attend and celebrate our loved one’s life, Mr. Louis Duvigneaud. The family would like to thank everyone for attending. Thank you as well for Flowers and donations that are sent.
