Vangenderen, Ethel Louise, 92, of Margate, passed away September 30, 2015. Ethel was born March 3, 1923 in Guys Hill, Jamaica to the late Everald and Lilly Anderson. She worked Jamaica Match Factory, Jamaica. She married Henry Van Genderen in 1960. Ethel left Jamaica and went to England. In England, she worked at the Staffordshire Hospital. In 1970, she moved to San Diego, California to retire and worked at the Sun & Sea nursing home.
In 1988 after her beloved Van passed away she moved to Florida to be close to her sister Gwen and the family. Ethel liked to fishing, play dominoes and cards while enjoying a good scotch or rum. Those left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Gwendolyn MooYoung, Claire McCloud, Ruby Mogg, Janet Metcraft; her brother, Cecil Anderson; many nieces and nephews. She was loved by all and will be missed very much.
