MARIE LAURINO

June 12, 2021

To All Those who loved Joey in Florida" My name is Marie Laurino i am not sure if Joey would ever mention our time together to anyone, I knew Joey from when i was 15 years old living in So. Ozone Park, N.Y. group of us all hung around together at the ice cream parlor "Prusers". Joe and I started dating when i was 16 yrs old and we got engaged at 18. We were two silly kids in love. Joe loved his music and it eventually took its toll on our relationship and we parted ways , it broke my heart. I gave Joey his ring back. Joey was my first true love. I have so very many memories of our time together with the group of teenagers we hung out with and family time. My entire family loved him especially my mother and father. He always made them laugh and me too. I could go on and on about life with Joey in it but i just want you to know I only just found out he passed. I watched the memorial. I sent him an Instagram and he did not respond and a chill came over me so i researched to find out why. My heart is very heavy with sadness finding my dear friend passed on .We always kept in touch via e-mail. I know he was happy all these years in Florida and i am grateful he had them. Life was not easy for Joey. his father Tony was very hard on him because of his singing. On the other hand he was a mommas boy. His mother spoiled him like crazy,, and his sister Laurie too. Please accept my very most heartfelt sympathy for his loss. I am so glad he had you all there in Florida to love him. I am SO SAD....my home phone in case you would ever like to call is 973-257-0960/ My home address is: 29 Revere Court. Montville, N.J/ 07045. I would really love to have one of cards the funeral parlor makes up if you can find it in your heart to send me one. i put them in my Bible. Thank you and God Bless.
