June was born in Brooklyn, New York May 21, 1945. Her mother, June, and her father, Henry, had 9 children, June being the 8th. June's Mom passed while delivering her 9th child.
Her Father later married her stepmother, Kathleen, who had 3 children. Kathleen and Henry had 2 children together, making 14 children in all. It was chaotic... but June always said it was fun when they were all together!
June was 19 years old when she left Brooklyn and moved to Miami, Florida with her sister Janice and her husband. June's Father was also staying with Janice at the time.
Her father would visit the bar across the street where Russell McCullough worked at the time and then introduced June to Russell. They married in 1968 and had 3 children together.
They lived in Miami and then traveled abroad with the Goodyear Blimp crew. They lived in London, England and Italy. June learned a lot of cooking techniques in Italy. She became a great cook!
After returning to the United States they moved back to Miami, then to Margate, Florida. In 1983, when the family got settled, June got a job at North West Regional Hospital which she stayed a faithful employee until she retired at the age 65.
June had 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. June was the kindest, most fun-loving, positive person! She was always helping others. She loved to laugh and made the most mundane things seem fun! She had a wonderful sense of humor. She always found humor, even in the worst situations.
