Just now seeing this while browsing the internet. I went to grade school with Lisa back in the 70s and 80s at St. Joachim in Cedarhurst, Long Island. I was in her brother Philip’s class.  I remember looking up to her as one of the cool older kids. My condolences.

I have many fond memories of Lisa. She was one of the greatest people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Additionally, she was a terrific friend who always showed 100% support and loyalty towards her friends. When I worked with her many years ago, I would make her laugh uncontrollably whenever I would do my Fire Marshall Bill imitation. Fire Marshall Bill was a skit from In Living Color that Jim Carrey played. Another fond memory I have is when Nathan and I flew down to Florida and spurned a surprise reunion for her when we paid her an unannounced visit at Service Merchandise. The excitement she exhibited when she began screaming with excitement from seeing us was one of my own personal favorite moments of all time.


Lisa, when you were born I walked into the room and your mother told me that she was naming you Lisa Marie after Lisa Marie Presley, and from that day on you were your own star. Your laughter was infectious, your company was always the best, and you brought happiness to everyone around you. I remember the numerous radio contests that you won, we were all so happy for you. I remember how you used to love to cook grandpa's family recipes to share with your family, Michael, Philip, Edie, Yammie, Brittany, Mike Jr, Sophia, and Phil Jr. My dear Lisa you left us way to soon and you will be truly missed. You gave us all of your love and many memories to cherish. Now you are a star that shines brightly in the heavens for all of us to see.

I have known Lisa since I was five years old. We went to the same elementary school (St. Joachim's in Cedarhurst, NY) from first through eighth grade and we attended the same high school (Stella Maris in Rockaway Park, NY). 

Today, both schools are gone and now so are you, Lisa.  Well, you may be gone but you will never be forgotten.  Even though we haven't seen each other in years, we communicated via social media.  You were a beautiful person both inside and out, which is why I am sure that you are with Him this day in heaven.  Rest in His presence, my friend, until we see each other again.
