Richard John Koke

Richard John Koke, 63, of Margate Fl, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on June 15, 2025. Born in Queens, NY on October 13, 1961, Richard was a devoted husband, father, papa, brother, uncle, and friend whose love, strength, and kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Richard lived a life grounded in hard work, deep family values, and simple joys. He was an avid fisherman who found peace on the water, a talented baker whose kitchen was always filled with warmth, and a gifted fixer who could bring life back to anything broken. But above all, he was an incredible Papa—his grandchildren were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment with them.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Cindy; his children and their families:

– Krystal and her husband Matthew, and their children Paige and Matthew

– Amanda and her husband Sean, and their children Jr, Ava, and Kayla

– Richard and his wife Carly, and their children Richard, Delilah, Abigail, and Theodore

– Cynthia and her husband Michael, and their children Charlotte and Connor

Richard also leaves behind his loving siblings Ann, Lisa, John and Marvin, as well as many nieces, nephews, and lifelong family friends. He joins his sister Theresa, beloved niece Victoria and his parents in our Heavenly Father’s Kingdom.

His memory will be carried forward in the stories told, the lessons he taught, and the love he so freely gave.

A private service will be held with close family and friends to honor Richard’s life.
