Robert Eugene Maynard

Bob was born on September 3, 1948, to parents, Eugene and Albertha, in Pikeville, Kentucky. After graduating from Northeast High School in Broward County, he joined the US Army and served his tour in Germany as a Military Police Officer. Once discharged from the Service, Bob began his Law Enforcement career in 1980 with the Oakland Park Police Department.

In 1986, Bob married his wife, Carol Tweedy, and they went on to have their two sons, Kyle and Colby. Bob retired from Law Enforcement in 2003 and spent much of his later years with his family in Okeechobee, FL.

Bob was predeceased by his wife, Carol. He is survived by his children, Kyle Maynard, Colby and Ally Maynard, and Chrissy and Larry Geisler; siblings, Shirley and Ed Flatten, Jay and Cindy Maynard and William and Diana Maynard; 3 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be held at the Kraeer Funeral Home, 1655 N. University Dr, Coral Springs, FL, on July 1st, 2023. Visitation begins at 10:00 AM with services at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Bob’s honor to a charity of your choice.
