Wayne was born in Northern California in the town of Alderpoint, and spent his early childhood in San Jose. He graduated from James Lick High School and attended San Jose State University before entering the military and serving in the 25th Infantry Division in Hawaii. He spend a majority of this sales career in the apparel business selling everything from activewear to lingerie and achieved his dream of becoming vice president of a Fortune 500 company (Kellwood) in New York City. Wayne also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sailing and camping and was an avid reader (especially history and politics). Wayne’s favorite place was Florida Keys and especially Key Largo where he loved to watch nature unfolded around him. After retiring, he started new two new careers: stay-at-home dad and author. He wrote a book on the Middle East and honed his cooking skills while writing a cookbook for stay-at-home dads. Most recently he was writing a detective novel set in Northern California.
