It all started on November 18th, 1969 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended Glen Este High School where he was an exceptional athlete. A star quarterback, an impressive wrestler, and even better baseball player. After leaving Ohio and barely making it to Georgia in a beat-up old Gremlin, he was an entrepreneur from the get go. One of his biggest achievements in life is the roofing company and family he built from the ground up known as A&W Contracting. From destroying people in cornhole to maneuvering aircrafts he truly was a larger than life individual. Words are hard to describe such a loving father, a great friend, and a passionate person. He deeply valued loyalty, respect, and family. His personal family was only backed by the countless people whose lives he’s touched over the years that led to an incredible family bond. Over the years he’s greatly impacted the lives of not only his family and friends, but the surrounding community. Andy was very passionate about giving back to the community just as much as it gave to him. Notable charitable donations include Feed the Children, Children’s Health Care of Atlanta, St. Jude’s Children Research Center, Habitat for Humanity, Must Ministries, Jose Feed the Homeless, March of Dimes, and several more sponsorships to respected local athletes in the community. While Andy was an extremely busy man, he somehow found the time to enjoy his hobbies and interest. His hobbies included traveling the world, competing in mixed martial arts (holding a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu), being a well decorated darts competitor and champion, sports car enthusiast, and of course seeing his Atlanta Falcons play! The party never started until Andy showed up, and he made sure everyone knew it! He was a superhero to all that knew him, and a legend to those who didn’t.
In the most seemingly surreal events that occurred, Andy passed away due to an unexpected heart attack. Leaving behind his mother Donna Mae Murphy, brother Anthony Edward Wills, two loving children, 20-year-old son Andrew Devin Patrick Wills and 19-year-old Ashlie Nicolle Wills, and little pup Amigo. Accompanying him in heaven is his deceased father Larry Thomas Wills.
