Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was defined by her love for others. She had a true servant’s heart and found joy in caring for the people around her. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer encouragement, or simply be there when someone needed her. Her greatest joy, however, was her family. She cherished every moment spent with those she loved and leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through the generations.
Barbara also found happiness in the simple things in life. She loved being outside in her yard, where she could spend time playing, enjoying the fresh air, and making memories with her family. Her yard was a place of happiness and connection—a reflection of the warmth and joy she brought wherever she went.
Barbara is predeceased by her beloved husband, Larry Edward Bell, Jr.
She is survived by her two sons, Jimmy Bell (Kandice) and David Bell (Julie); her sister, Bess Buckley; and 25 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, who will forever carry her love and memory in their hearts.
Barbara will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. Her servant heart, unconditional love for her family, and joy in the simple moments of life will remain a lasting part of her legacy.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home, Historic Marietta Chapel. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia.
