Barbara Locklear, 59, of Acworth, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw beginning at 1pm with burial to follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.
Mrs. Locklear was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who loved God and encouraged her children to love the Lord. She was a self employed housekeeper outside of her own home and loved to travel to the beach when the opportunities arose. Barbara was preceded in death by her daughter Teresa Locklear and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those who survive Mrs. Locklear include her husband – Delton Locklear, Sr.; sons – Delton Locklear, Jr. (Cyrethia) and Nelson Locklear; grandchildren – Ceylor Locklear and Landon Locklear.
The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the funeral home from 6pm until 9pm.
