Betty A. Fouts

Mrs. Betty Austin Fouts age 83 of Marietta, passed away Saturday, March 29th. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, April 2nd at Smyrna First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Lyle officiating. Interment will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta. Betty was one of the original employees of Fouts Bros and worked over 40 years with the organization as Secretary/Treasurer until her retirement in 1997. Betty had a lot of success in business, but it pales in comparison to her success as a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and sister. She shared her home, love and self to all those in need of comfort. She will be missed and remembered by many. She is preceded in death by her husband CJ Fouts. Surviving are: Daughter & Son-in-law – Jan & Billy Edens of Marietta; Sons & Daughters-in-law Barry & Melanie Fouts, and Tim & Melissa Fouts all of Kennesaw; Grandchildren Amy & Spencer Hamlin; Lisa & Jeff Ledford; Scott & Heather Edens; Stacey & John Kown; Jake & Emily Edens, Bradley Fouts, Jonathan Fouts and Benjamin Fouts; brothers Joe & Jerry Austin, sisters Ruth McMillan, Janey Alexander, and Linda Waits; 12 Great Grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and friends. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Smyrna First United Methodist Church, 1315 Concord Rd., Smyrna, GA 30080.
