Bobby Everette Maloney

Bobby Everette Maloney, 83, of Acworth died Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Bobby was a 1959 graduate of R. L. Osborne High School. He served a total of 6 year in the U.S. Air Force/GA Air National Guard/Reserves. Bobby retired after a long career in management with AT&T. Then after retirement, he went on to work with COMCAST and INTERNAP until the age of 79. Bobby was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed. Survivors include his wife of 60 years: Donna J. Maloney; his daughter, Lisa Dover (Acworth); his son, Doug Maloney and his wife Noelle (Acworth); his grandchildren, Rickey Dover, Kelsey Dover, Jace Dover, Nick Horn (Acworth), Jessey Maloney (Cartersville); nieces and nephews. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents: Bob E. and Ella Mae Maloney; sister, Eve Heil; Brother, Billy Maloney; and Grandson, Casey Maloney. The family wishes to thank all the caregivers that took such good care of him during his illness. A short graveside ceremony will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta, GA with Rev. Jimmy Wolfe officiating.
